The only free will there is limited to what was stated in the contract which allows Lil to do some move extent do some things. When there would be anything for the thorough correspondence in the past, Lil guessed, but does not inquire for it.
Oulu did not consider it. This is because there was an article “not to inquire into a past” within the contract.
“Well then, lets go to the next village.”
Did he not heard Lil’s muttering or did he heard but ignored it? Oulu said that without answering to the muttering.

This village’s food and valuables, they can only carry [with them] what the dead can hold each. Although it wasn’t such a wealthy village, since winter was coming it was a large amount. Lil can eat, although she doesn’t need to, and the quantity was more than enough for Oulu.

They took the next several days, and went over to some other villages in the vicinity, Oulu ecame back to the dungeon after making a similar contract with them.
In the end, without any resistance besides that of the first village, contracts were made with a total of 6 villages.
Some of the villages are a little far away, but there’s no problem if he uses teleporting magic with the Dungeon’s Core magic power. The altars the villagers had to make also have teleportation magic arrays.
